Seldom in our home to find
Such rich endowed mood
Such a talented lady
isn't to be found among norway mountains and books
I believe never to forget
Happy days we did have
When we have parted, still your voice
I brought with me to my home
$
Happy days! O, happy memories
be with me on the lifes way
Let me still after a while find or meet
[Engergish?] you. I wouldn't forget
God! Be though a true guide
For her over the big ocean
Keep away from her all torments
That she happy may reach her home
$
Take my thanks and my farewell
As remembrance along with your home
though a stranger I am placed
And as servant for you
The heavens best reward I pray down
For all you did for me
Mrs. Jackson good luck & honour
Be with you till you die

Cathrin Hansen
