We are the responsible children of our own deeds-the creators of conditions that must rule in the lives of those who succeed us and, so long as the verdict of its citizens is in line with the wise dispensation of its founders, in forbidding the existence of the open saloon; so long as the quiet of one day in seven is safeguarded, so long as the sanctuaries are thronged by reverent worshippers, so long will her fame be celebrated, not only for beauty of situation, but for the strength and stability of her moral character.
