To the people of the next century:

I request that these photographs be delivered to some of our descendants if they can be found.

The old home of my father and grandfather (Squire Andrew Scott) is at present three miles So.-West of Hayesrich, Ashland County, this, and some descendants of the family should be found in the vicinity.

My brothers are John, William, and Frank, and my sisters Virinda (Culler), Mary (Garns) and Cora. John lives at present near McCay, Ohio, William at Mansfield, Ohio, and Frank is a student of the Illinois College of Physicians and Surgeons, Chicago, Illinois.

My father died Nov. 28th 1891, and is buried at Hayesrich, Ohio. My mother is yet living.

Respectfully subscribed [?],

James Wesley Scott
