Colorado Springs Gay Rights Collection
Frank Mosher, Colorado Springs educator and activist, put together this collection of newspaper articles, stationery, buttons, pins, a t-shirt, and more, connected to Colorado's Amendment 2, which allowed discrimination against lesbian, gay, and bisexual people in Colorado. It passed in 1992, earning Colorado the nickname "the hate state." It was struck down in 1996. See also: Colorado Springs Political Ephemera Collection.
