About 700 papers written by Seward’s folklore students at Colorado College, 1981-2007, mostly pertaining to CC folklore: slang, jokes, graffiti, traditions, superstitions, ghost stories, more. With a few folders of Seward’s research, writing, and correspondence.
Adrienne Lanier Seward (she preferred this full version of her name) taught in the English department of Colorado College from 1981 until her retirement in 2012. In 1987, she became the first Black woman to be tenured at CC. She died in 2024.
