To my decendants [sic]: I take pleasure in enclosing to you photographs of my father Capt Robert Tansill, and of my mother Fannie [?] A. Tansill, nee Weems, who was grand daughter of Rev Mason Locke Weems, who wrote among many other works, the first life of Genl George Washington. I also enclose my views upon National Irrigation, formed after an experience of thirteen years in the Pecos Valley of New Mexico, when I was a pioneer. Robert Weems Tansill |
