Scope and Content
Mabel Barbee Lee was the Dean of Women at Colorado College from 1922 to 1929 and also an administrator at Bennington, Radcliffe, Whitman, and the University of California. This collection contains material related to three of her books: And Suddenly It's Evening: A Fragment of Life (Doubleday, 1963), Cripple Creek Days (Doubleday, 1958), and The Rainbow Years: A Happy Interlude (Doubleday, 1966).
